Seven (07) New Cases Filed in April Before the US Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in In re 3DB Successor Corporation.
The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors filed (7) seven new complaints against its creditors to recover allegedly voidable preferential transfers in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The complaint was filed in the first week of April under Chapter 11 Section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code. C&M Wood Industries, Inc., the largest case in the group was sued for $180,000. Some of the other high value cases included Enstrom Corporation, Madison Marketing, Smoking Gun Media, Polyone Corporation, Casas International Brokerage, Inc..
.The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors had filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in October 21, 2008. Judge Erithe A. Smith is presiding over this case. The trustee has retained Blakeley & Blakeley LLP as their attorneys.
