Augusta Automotive, LLC Initiates Adversary Proceedings against sixteen (16) Creditors.

Edward J. Coleman, III, the Trustee of the estate of Augusta Automotive, LLC recently filed sixteen law suits against the creditors on March 31, 2010 to recover allegedly voidable preferential transfers under Chapter 11 Section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code. BP Lubricants USA is the largest case in the group so far and was sued for $ 178,000. Some of the other creditors against whom lawsuits were filed included Summerset Marine, LLC, Computer One Technology Inc., Pitney Bowes Credit Corp, BASF Corporation, Teph Seal Auto Appearance & Accessories and a few others.

An involuntary petition for liquidation under Chapter 7 was filed against Augusta Automotive, LLC in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia last year on January 26, 2009.

Augusta Automotive, LLC operates as a Toyota car dealer. The company offers cars, SUV's/minivans, and trucks. It also provides used cars and accessories. The company was incorporated in 2006 as Toyota of Augusta, LLC and changed its name to Augusta Automotive, LLC in September 2006. The company is based in Augusta, Georgia.
