ACT Electronics, Inc Files Ten (10) Lawsuits in March 2010
George L. Miller, Chapter 7 Trustee for the Estate of ACT Electronics, Inc. sued ten creditors earlier this month for the return of alleged preferential transfers to the amount of over $ 1.3 million. On March 10, 2010, Onstor Inc., the highest case in the group, was sued for the return of $ 707,901.73.
ACT Electronics, Inc., a provider of electronic manufacturing solutions, has also initiated adversary proceedings against Normatec, CBL Systems LLC, AVISTAR, Candela Corporation, CAS Medical Systems Inc and a few others.
The petition for protection under Chapter 7 was filed before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware two years ago in March 2008. Judge Christopher S. Sontchi is presiding over the case. Ciardi Ciardi & Astin, P.C. is representing the plaintiff as their counsel. The case is In re ACT Electronics, Inc.
